Description
The Fortuna is a two mast sailing boat that was built in Norway in 1939. After having served as a freighter between magnificent fjords for many years, the Fortuna now leads a life of leisure. The current owner, bought the ship 1981 and remodeled it so that it could be used as a charter in the Mediterranean Sea. Than in 1991 the ship was brought to the Netherlands were it once again underwent its final transformation. Now the ship has been equipped with the modern technology and is very comfortable. It has a oven/ microwave, central heating, a dryer, stereo and television.
Between 1998 and 2005 The Fortuna traveled with to Spain, Portugal, Madeira, and on some occasions to the Caribbean sea via Cape Verde, the Bermuda Islands and Azores. The boat is usually rented out for a day with a captain. However, there are different option possible.
