Can I still sail with the coronavirus?

Sailing is possible again everywhere in the Netherlands. Take the RIVM guidelines into account, make sure you keep your distance and enjoy the freedom on the water.

Keep your distance

On the water, as on land, you must keep a distance of 1.5 metres. Take into account the size of the boat and the number of people that will be on board. Make sure you keep a suitable distance from other water sports enthusiasts around you so that together we make sure that the virus does not spread further. You should also keep a distance of 1.5 meters during the explanation of the boat.

Disinfect the contact points

Before and after sailing, the contact points (rudder, steering wheel and throttle) should be treated with disinfectant cleaner.

Look for space

Make sure you avoid the busy points such as canals and locks. Look for space on the rivers, lakes and ponds to relax.

Any symptoms? Move your booking!

Does anyone in your company show any symptoms or flu symptoms? Then stay at home and move your booking to a later time of the year. Moving is not possible? Then cancel your booking so that you don't give the virus a chance to spread further.

Use your common sense

Going outside can do no harm, but follow the guidelines of RIVM and the local security regions. Go out on the water, keep a distance of 1.5 metres. Through us you book your boat safely to get some fresh air.
